Shopify web design in Murrieta

Shopify gives every store the same engine; design is where yours stops looking like a rented template. It's the flagship of our e-commerce practice, and it ships with the unglamorous setup done right.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

What does a Shopify store cost?

From $4,500 as a fixed quote, scaling with catalog size and customization. Website package pricing is public on our pricing page. That number includes the parts agencies love to bill separately: payments and tax configuration, shipping rules, inventory setup, transactional email templates, and analytics with conversion tracking wired in from day one. Shopify's own subscription is separate and goes to Shopify, not us, and we'll size the right plan tier for you honestly; most small stores don't need Advanced.

Theme customization or custom build?

Customized theme for most stores, and we'll say so even though it's the cheaper answer. A well-chosen theme, stripped of what you don't use and styled until it reads as yours, launches faster and inherits Shopify's checkout and accessibility work. A fully custom storefront makes sense when the catalog or the brand genuinely demands it, and it prices like the Premium tier. What we don't do is sell you custom because it sounds impressive; the checkout is Shopify's either way, and the checkout is where the money is. The same discipline applies to apps: every app you install is a monthly fee and another script slowing the storefront, so we solve problems with the platform first and reach for the app store only when it earns its keep.

Do you migrate existing stores?

Yes: products, variants, customers, and order history from WooCommerce, Squarespace, Wix, Etsy, or an older Shopify theme, with redirects for every product URL that has ever earned a link or a ranking. Migration is where stores usually lose their search traffic, and it's avoidable with the same discipline as a website redesign: inventory what earns, preserve its address, and measure after launch. Every product page ships with structured data so Google and shopping assistants can read price, availability, and reviews; the deeper search work lives in e-commerce SEO.

How long does a Shopify build take?

Four to eight weeks for most stores, and the catalog drives the range more than the design does. The first week is structure: how products group into collections, what the navigation looks like, and which pages beyond the catalog you actually need. Design and build run through the middle weeks. The last stretch is the part that separates a store from a storefront: real test orders end to end, taxes charging correctly for California, shipping rules doing what you meant, refunds refunding, and every automated email reading like your business wrote it. You watch a full test purchase before launch day, with your own card on a refunded order if you like, so nothing about going live is a surprise and nothing about running the store needs a support ticket to us afterward.

What do you need from me to start?

Less than you'd fear. A product list with prices, variants, and photos gets the build moving; if the photos are rough or the descriptions don't exist yet, say so, and we'll scope help through the content add-ons on the pricing page instead of letting it stall the schedule. You'll also need the business basics Shopify requires for payments: legal name, bank account, and a return policy, and we walk you through each screen of that setup rather than pointing you at documentation. Everything else, from domain wiring to analytics, is our job.
