Website redesign in Murrieta

Your site looks fine to you by now; you've stopped seeing it. Customers haven't. A redesign is the flagship of our web design in Murrieta work: keep what earns, rebuild what embarrasses.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

How much does a website redesign cost?

Between $1,500 and $8,000 as a fixed quote, depending on how much of the old site survives. A focused refresh of a small site lands near the Launch tier; a full teardown with new copy and new structure prices like a Professional or Premium build on the pricing page. You get the exact number before work starts, and it doesn't move. The quote includes the redirects, the content migration, and the launch itself; there's no second invoice for going live.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

Not if it's done with the rankings in mind, and done right it usually helps. Every URL that earns traffic today either keeps its address or gets a permanent redirect to its replacement. Page titles and content that rank stay recognizable to Google while the design around them improves. Then the redesign pays a dividend: faster loads, cleaner structure, and proper schema markup are exactly what Google rewards. Rescuing sites out of aging WordPress page builders is our most common redesign, and the speed jump alone is visible in the first crawl. If you want the technical side scored first, start with an SEO audit.

How long does a redesign take?

Two to four weeks for most projects. Week one is structure and wireframes, weeks two and three are design and build, and the last stretch is content, redirects, and launch checks. Your current site stays live and untouched until the new one is ready to swap in, so there's no gap where customers see a construction page.

What gets kept, and what gets replaced?

The first week produces an inventory, not mockups. Every page on your current site gets sorted by what it earns: pages that rank or draw traffic are protected, content that answers real customer questions is rewritten but never discarded, and your reviews, photos, and credentials move over intact because they're the proof a redesign can't fake. What doesn't survive is the dead weight: builder bloat and scripts that triple the load time, stock photos of handshakes, sliders nobody swipes, and the wall of keyword text someone added in 2014. You see the keep-and-replace list before design starts, so nothing you care about disappears as a surprise.

Structure changes get the same care. If the old site buried services three menus deep, the new one surfaces them the way customers search. Titles, headings, and internal links come out of the rebuild aligned with what you actually sell, which is the groundwork that later local SEO compounds on.

Launch day is deliberately boring

Redirects are mapped before DNS moves, so every address that earned traffic keeps working. Analytics is recording from the first visitor, the sitemap goes to Google the same morning, and we test the contact form ourselves before you ever send a customer to it. If the site looks stale from some locations in the first minutes after a domain switch, we verify against the deployment record and let the network settle instead of purging caches blind. That launch discipline is part of the service, and it is why our rebuilds are live and indexable from day one.
